Having a child of my own sparked the immense joy I find in taking pictures of small children. They enjoy every moment of life. Every photo session with them is full of surprises and opportunities to have fun. I've found that during a photo session with a child, I too get to explore the child locked inside myself. It's exhilarating!
Favorites from the shoot in the downtown park. The more pictures I take downtown, the more I fall in love with Omaha, and the more sad I am to leave. I love the funky little places around here nestled in the middle of the city. These two are close friends of mine and they have darling children. I love those dark brown eyes! It will be a shame also to leave so many of our wonderful friends we've made here too!
Families are my favorite thing to photograph. I love catching the interaction of mother, father, husband and wife. I love seeing the children run around and have fun with their parents. This is what life is about. The day to day interaction with the people we love.
